Donation Transparency
How We Use Donations
Community Safety Lab is a volunteer-driven project dedicated to scam awareness and prevention. We believe in complete transparency about how donations are used and what they support.
Donations are completely optional. Access to all reports, alerts, and resources is free and will always remain free.
What Donations Support
When you contribute to Community Safety Lab, your donation helps with:
- Hosting and Infrastructure: Server costs, domain registration, and reliable uptime
- Security and Maintenance: SSL certificates, security updates, and platform maintenance
- Scam Awareness Content: Creating educational materials, videos, and community resources
What Donations Are NOT
We want to be clear about what donations do not involve:
- Not Required: Donations are entirely optional and have no effect on your ability to use any feature
- Not Sold or Shared: Donation information is never sold, shared, or used for marketing
- Not Tied to Reports: Donations have no connection to report submissions, approvals, or case outcomes
Our Commitment
Community Safety Lab is built on trust. We commit to:
- Using all donations responsibly for platform operations and community education
- Never pressuring users to donate
- Keeping all features and resources freely accessible
- Maintaining transparency about our operations
If you would like to support our work, you can make a voluntary contribution through PayPal.
